A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. Az AO VET egy nemzetközi szervezet, amely csontsebész specialisták számára szervez Európában egyedülálló módon gyakorlati kurzusokat. Az AO továbbképzésekkel, kutatással, publikálással valamint műszer fejlesztéssel foglalkozik. Szerte a világon több helyen, az USA-ban, Ázsiában, Ausztráliában is találhatók alszervezetei. Davos az európai centrum Svájcban, ahol a kutatások, műszer fejlesztések, valamint továbbképzések feltételei rendelkezésre állnak.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. Ezen mesterkurzusra olyan lósebészetben több évtizedes tapasztalattal bíró ortopéd sebészek jelentkezhetnek, akik a korábbi kurzusokat (alap és közép szintű kurzus) már kijárták. A kurzuson a világ legismertebb ló-csontsebészeti specialistái tartanak előadásokat diszkussziókat egy-egy speciális töréssel kapcsolatban. Ezt követően párokban műlábokon vagy cadaver végtagokon gyakorolják a résztvevők a különböző rögzítési módokat. További része a kurzusnak, hogy a résztvevők saját eseteiket is prezentálják, ami egyrészt publikációs potenciállal is bír ezen grémium előtt. A kurzus része még egy sebészeti verseny is, ahol a résztvevők egy adott csonttörést kell, hogy megoldjanak, amit a rendezők értékelnek, és a nap végén kihirdetik, ki tudta elkészíteni a legmegfelelőbb konstrukciót. Magyar értintettség, hogy egy korábbi kurzus alkalmával a magyar delegáció (Dr Bodó Gábor és Dr Izing Simon) 2017-ben megnyerte ezt a versenyt Svéd, USA, Francia, Angol, Svájci, Német, Kínai stb. nemzetközi mezőnyben.
Summary
Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. The AO is an international organisation (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthesefragen), established in the middle of the last centrury for the developlment of fracture repair in humans and veterinary surgeons. It is a unique organisation establishing practical work-shops for human and veterinary ortopedic surgeons. AOVET is dealing with the veterinary field. AOVET is dealing with education, research, publication and instrument development. The organisation has several subunits all over the world (USA, Asia, Australia etc.) Davos in Switzerland is the major center of AO in Europe, where all the circumstances are available for organising courses in the highest level.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results. In this mastercourse for equine fracture repair prerequisite for praticipation are many decades of experience as well as praticipation in previous basic and advanced courses. Lecturers on this course are the best world wide known equine orthopedic experts from the USA and Europe. They keep lectures, discussions and are leading the practical courses. On the practical courses on artifitial or cadaver limbs the previously discussed special disorder will be practiced using all the necessary equipment. On the other hand the participants are also presenting their own cases for the entire group and lecturers, and they will be criticised and discussed in a separate forum. Part of this course is a compatition, where a special fracture is given to all participants and must be solved with the equipment available. Our hungarian involvment in this event is that the hungarian team (Dr Bodó and Dr Izing) won this competition in 2017 among prestigious delegates from all over the world (Kentucky, Canada, Sweden, France, England, China, South-Africa etc.).

"In depth: The Stifle" teljes szekciójában volt szó az általam előzetesen is beadott témáról, a térdízület gyógykezelési lehetőségeinek, ízületi felszínének gyógykezelési lehetőségeiről, melynek módosítását kellett benyújtanom és fogadta el az OTKA bizottság ebben a Mecenatura pályázatban. Többek között olyan témák kerültek taglalásra amerikai valamint európai lósebész specialisták által mint: "The use of absorbable transcondylar screws for SBCs"; "The heritability and prevalence of palmar/plantar first phalanx type 1 osteochondral fragments in yearling Thoroughbred horses". TÖbbekkel sikerült felvenni a kapcsolatot, amely a saját kutató csoportunk számára is remélhetőleg gyümölcsöző lesz a jövőben. Igy a Colorado State University vezető ló ortopéd sebész professzor asszonyával: Laura Goodrich-el, akivel azóta is levelező viszonyba sikerült kerülni különböző esetek megtárgyalásával kapcsolatban.
A kongresszus másik fontos feladata volt, hogy a Poszer szekció levezető elnöki feladatait kellett ellátnom, valamint ezen szekcióban az értékelő bizottság elnöki funkcióját. Ez az ECVS program szervező bizottsága részéről egyrészt egy megbecsülést jelentett a magyar lósebészek irányába, másrészt a jól sikerült szekció levezető elnökeként remélhetőleg pozitív megítélésben is volt részünk.

My previous topic about joint surface treatment possibilities, - which had to be modified due to cancellation of the previous work shop - was discussed in detailes during this European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) Congress in Porto Portugal.
Our application for modification of the topic was accepted last year by the Mecenatura OTKA board.
Among others the following topics were covered during this Congress: The use of absorbable transcondylar screws for SBCs"; "The heritability and prevalence of palmar/plantar first phalanx type 1 osteochondral fragments in yearling Thoroughbred horses".
New contact could be established with the leading equine orthopedic surgeon of the Colorado University: Prof. Laura Goodrich.
Since then bilateral discussion about special cases and research topics were carried out, which is a real profit for our orthopedic research group.
Onenother important mission of my trip was to fulfill the chairman and position in the Poster Section. On the otherhand I was asked to chair the poster commettee deciding about the best poster presentations. I believ, that we can take this asked position as an appreciation directed to the hungarian equine surgeons, which is a marked improvement of the last couple of years.
The section went well with great success, lots of participants, so this discretion of the section was also very positive.
