A Történeti Bibliográfia Kutatócsoport T 048930 számú OTKA-pályázatának keretében az 1951 és 1958 között Kosáry Domokos összeállításában megjelent bibliográfia két időrendi kötet kéziratának összeállításával foglalkozott (1. A Duna-medence múltja. Őstörténet, honfoglalás; 5. A Jagellók kora. Mohács, 1490–1526).
2005–2007 folyamán javítottuk és esetenként bővítettük a két kötet régi kéziratát, és átalakítottuk az újabb kiadás formai követelményei szerint. Könyvtári adatgyűjtést, adatpontosítást végeztünk az 1950-es évek vége óta megjelent vonatkozó, magyar és idegen nyelvű szakirodalom terén. A tételek egy része a II/5. kötet esetében a megszabott struktúrába bekerült, másik részük még cédulaformátumba a kézirat vonatkozó fejezetéhez van beosztva. Jelentős mennyiségű szakirodalmi adatot gyűjtöttünk és pontosítottunk történeti és régészeti szakfolyóiratokból, múzeumi évkönyvekből, illetve történeti bibliográfiákból, amelyek legnagyobb részét elektronikus formában rögzítettük. 2007 folyamán a kéziratokban az összegyűjtött szakirodalmi tétetek annotálását és a kézirat szerkesztését folytattuk. Ez a munka azonban Kosáry Domokos betegsége és Lappints Virág betegeskedése miatt nem fejeződött be.

During the OTKA grant (T 048930) the Hungarian Historical Bibliography Workshop was working on the manuscripts of two chronologal volumes (1. The prehistory of the Danubian Basin. The early history of the Hungarian people and the Hungarian conquest; 5. The Jagellowian period. Mohács, 1490–1526) of the up-to-date version of Domokos Kosáry’s historical bibliography that was originally published between 1951 and 1958.
In the course of 2005-7, the two relevant sections of the original volumes were corrected and reedited in order to meet the formal requirements of the new edition. The members of the Workshop collected the Hungarian and foreign secondary literature of the half a century that had elapsed since the first edition. In the case of volume 5. a large portion of the newly gathered items of secondary literature has been incorporated into the original manuscript, the rest of the items are still in note form and have only been subdivided according to the relevant chapters. A considerable amount of new secondary liturature has been collected for volume 1 as well from historical and archeological periodicals, museum yearbooks and historical bibliographies. The latter items are stored electronically. In 2007, the members of the Workshop continued the annotation and the edition of the manuscripts. This work, however, has not been completed due to the illness and subsequent death of the Workshop’s head Domokos Kosáry and the illness and later maternity leave of Virág Lappints.
