magyar összefoglaló
A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése
Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében.

Az ISMEC 2022 konferenciát Valenciában (Spanyolország) szervezik Prof. Enrique Garcia-Espagna elnökletével . A konferenciasorozat 1974-ben kezdődött, 2012-től vált nemzetközivé „International Symposium on Metal Complexes” névvel. Azóta a 2020-as évet leszámítva, minden évben megrendezték.
A részvételem a konferencián lehetőséget ad saját eredményeink bemutatására, a kapcsolódó területeken született új eredmények megismerésére. Ez nagyban segítheti a saját kutatásaink tovább folytatását.

A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára
Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről.

Az ISMEC 2022 a konferenciasorozat 49. konferenciája. 1974-ben kezdődött, 2012-től vált nemzetközi konferenciává, „International Symposium on Metal Complexes” névvel.

Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation
Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career.

The ISMEC 2022 conference is organized in Valencia (Spain) chaired by Prof. Enrique Garcia-Espagna. The conference series began in 1974 and became international in 2012 under the name “International Symposium on Metal Complexes”. Since then, it was organized every year except 2020. In 2019, it was hosted by the University of Debrecen, and I was the co-chair of the conference organizing committee. The topics of the conference are the thermodynamics and kinetics of complex formation, analytical methods for the characterization of solution equilibrium and complex formation processes, and the results of the related research areas (interactions between metal ions and biomolecules, their reactivity, catalytic effect, coordination chemical aspects of nanostructures, study of environmentally and biologically important complex formation processes) will be presented.
MBP2022 will be the first event in a newly created conference series organized by Prof. Peter Faller and Dr. Laetitia Canabady-Rochelle in Nancy (France). In the focus is the research on the interaction between metal ions and peptides related to the wide range of research fields (food industry, nutrition, microbiology, cell biology, catalysis, environmental chemistry, the origins of life and evolution, imaging, cosmetics, medicines, model systems research).
One of the directions of our present research is the coordination and electrochemical studies of the interactions between tau protein and metal ions related to neurodegenerative diseases, so it is closely related to the topics of both conferences. The organizers of both conferences asked me to give a presentation. My participation in the conference gives me the opportunity to present our results, and to learn about new results in related fields. This can greatly help us to continue our own research.

Summary and aims of the project for a general audience
Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results.

ISMEC 2022 is the 49th conference in the conference series. It began in 1974 and from 2012 it became an international conference called “International Symposium on Metal Complexes”. In 2019, it was hosted by the University of Debrecen, and I was the co-chair of the conference organizing committee. The conference will focus on coordination chemistry and its applications (supramolecular chemistry, nanostructures, medical and therapeutic aspects).
The conference is organized by an organizing committee in Valencia, Spain, chaired by Enrique Garcia-Espagna, a prominent scientist in the field.
The MBP’2022 conference will be the first event in a newly created conference series. In the focus is the research on the interaction between metal ions and peptides related to the wide range of research fields (food industry, nutrition, microbiology, cell biology, catalysis, environmental chemistry, the origins of life and evolution, imaging, cosmetics, medicines, model systems research).
The conference is organized by two of the best-known and most prominent scientists in the field, Peter Faller of the University of Strasbourg (France) and Laetitia Canabady-Rochelle, a researcher at the French National Research Center in Nancy, France.
One of the directions of our present research is the coordination and electrochemical studies of the interactions between tau protein and metal ions related to neurodegenerative diseases, so it is closely related to the topics of both conferences. The organizers of both conferences asked me to give a presentation. Thus, my participation in the conference provides an opportunity to present and discuss our results. In addition, discussions with leading researchers, as well as with representatives of the young scientist generation working in areas related to our field can be of great help in continuing our research and developing new directions.

A konferencián „Modelling of metal binding sites of natural proteins with oligopeptide-metal complexes” címmel tartottam szekció előadást, a CuZnSOD enzim, valamint a neurodegeneratív betegségekben szerepet jászó tau protein modellpeptidjeinek réz(II) és cink(II) komplexeire fókuszálva. Az International Conference on Metal-Binding Peptides: Methodologies and Applications (MBP’2022) konferencia egy újonnan létrehozott konferenciasorozat első eseménye volt. A középpontban a fémionok és a peptidek közötti kölcsönhatás kutatásának igen szerteágazó területein végzett kutatások álltak. A „Comparison of the copper binding affinity of the various histidyl sites of tau protein” című előadás keretében saját kutatásainkból a neurodegeneratív megbetegedésekhez kapcsolódó tau fehérje különböző fragmenseinek réz(II) és cink(II) komplexeit mutattam be, összehasonlítva a különböző fragmensek fémionkötő képességét. Mindkét konferencia a kutatásainkhoz kapcsolódó területek legújabb eredményeinek megismerésére, más kutatókkal való diszkusszióra, együttműködések tervezésére adott lehetőséget.
