A projekt keretében támogatott nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása Mutassa be a szervezés alatt álló nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, programját, célcsoportját és jelentőségét a nemzetközi, illetve hazai tudományos élet szempontjából. A Magyar Idegtudományi Társaság (MITT) az idegtudománnyal foglalkozó kutatók illetve klinikusok legnagyobb magyar szakmai szervezete. A MITT szakmai tevékenységének legjelentősebb eseménye évente rendszeresen megrendezett idegtudományi konferenciája, amely a Társaság, illetve a magyar idegtudomány jelentős nemzetközi beágyazottságának és elismertségének köszönhetően az utóbbi években a szakterület legjelentősebb, Magyarországon rendezett, nemzetközileg vezető szerepű kutatóinak részvételével lebonyolított nemzetközi konferenciájává vált. A koronavírus pandémia miatt a MITT 2021-re tervezett nemzetközi konferenciája IBRO Workshop 2022 néven kerül megrendezésre. A programban 4 plenáris előadás, 4 szimpózium és 2 poszter szekció szerepel, amelyek az idegtudomány rendkívül széles spektrumát fedik le az alapkutatás számos témájától kezdve egészen a rendkívüli egészségügyi jelentőségű idegrendszeri betegségek neurobiológiai alapjaiig. A konferencián összesen 8 külföldi és 12 magyar szóbeli előadó szerepel, nemzetközileg elismert, tématerületükön vezető szerepű tudósok, akiktől a legfrissebb nemzetközi kutatási trendekről és tudományos eredményekről értesülhet a konferencia közönsége, hozzájárulva ezzel a magyar kutatók nemzetközi kapcsolatainak fejlődéséhez is. A konferencia a magyar előadókon keresztül erősíti a magyar idegtudomány nemzetközi láthatóságát és elismertségét is illetve lehetővé teszi külföldi kutatók magyar partnerekkel való együttműködéséhez szükséges személyes és szakmai kapcsolatok kialakítását. A konferencia szatellita eseménye, a Hundoc konferencia a tudományos utánpótlást jelentő fiatal kutatóknak biztosít szereplési és kapcsolatépítési lehetőséget.

Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event supported in the project Present the type, purpose, agenda, targeted audience, and significance of the international event organized in the international and domestic scientific community. Hungarian Neuroscience Society (MITT) is the largest Hungarian professional organization involving neuroscientist and clinical healthcare professionals. The largest event of the professional activity of MITT is its regular neuroscience conference held in every years which became the most significant international conference of the field in the last years with leading participating neuroscientist due to the significant international recognition of the Hungarian neuroscience. Due to the corona virus pandemic, the next planned MITT conference will be held in 2022 as IBRO Workshop 2022 instead of the original plan timed to 2021. The program involves 4 plenary lectures, 4 symposia and 2 poster sections covering a wide spectrum of neuroscience from topics of basic neuroscience to the disorders of the nervous system representing very significant health problems. There will be 8 international and 12 Hungarian oral speakers who are internationally recognized lead scientists interpreting the hottest international research topics and scientific results to the audience of the conference and taking part in the progress of the international connections of Hungarian scientists. The conference will gain the international visibility of the Hungarian neuroscience via the participation of the Hungarian speakers and enables the formation of the personal and professional connections needed for the cooperation of international researchers with the Hungarian partners. Hundoc conference is a satellite event of the conference which provides possibilities for presenting and making personal connection for young neuroscientists.

kutatási eredmények (magyarul)
Konferenciánk Európai esemény volt, melyre a tengeren túlról is érkeznek vendégek. Ezt elismerve 2022-ben megkaptuk azt az elismerést az International Brain Research Organization (IBRO)-tól, hogy a konferencia egyben egy IBRO Workshop is lehetett. Ez, valamint hogy a plenáris előadóink mind el tudtak jönni jelenléti előadást tartani, tovább növelte a konferencia nemzetközi jelentőségét. Prof. Ole Kiehn (Karolinska Institute, Sweden) olyan agytörzsi neuronhálózatokról tartott előadást, amelyek szabályozzák a mozgást az egészséges és beteg agyban. Prof. Valery Grinevich (Heidelberg University) a peptiderg jelátvitel szerepéről tartott előadást, míg Prof. Olivier Manzoni (Inmed Inserm, Marseille) az endocannabioidok idegrendszeri hatásairól beszélt. Őket egészített ki Nyíri Gábor (ELKH KOKI), aki 2020-21-ben levelező szerzőként publikált két Science cikkének anyagát mutatta be. A megrendezésre került 4 szimpózium témája szintén az idegtudomány jelenleg kiemelten kutatott témáit ölelte fel, úgy, mint a bél-agy kommunikáció, a schizophrenia és autizmus spektrumzavar transzkriptomikai háttérmechanizmusai, a vizuális rendszer kortikális szintű működése, és a neuroinflammáció. A szimpóziumok szervezői a Pécsi ill. Szegedi Tudományegyetemről, valamint a Semmelweis Egyetemről, és az ELKH Természettudományi Kutatóközpontjából kerültek ki. Minden szimpóziumban előadott legalább egy külföldi kutató. Emellett a poszterszekció is kiemelkedően sikeres volt.

Our conference was a European event. Therefore, we received recognition from the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) that the conference could also be an IBRO Workshop. The recognition, as well as the fact that all our plenary speakers were able to come and give face to face presentations, further increased the international importance of the conference. Prof. Ole Kiehn (Karolinska Institute, Sweden) gave a lecture on brainstem neuron networks that regulate movement in the healthy and diseased brain. Prof. Valery Grinevich (Heidelberg University) gave a lecture on the role of peptidergic signaling, while Prof. Olivier Manzoni (Inmed Inserm, Marseille) gave a lecture on the effects of endocannabinoids on the nervous system. They were complemented by Gábor Nyíri (ELKH KOKI), who presented the material of two Science articles published by him as corresponding author. The topics of the 4 symposia that were held also encompassed the currently highly researched topics of neuroscience, such as gut-brain communication, the transcriptomic of schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorder, the functioning of the visual system at the cortical level, and neuroinflammation. The organizers of the symposia came from the University of Pécs, Szeged, the Semmelweis University, and the Natural Sciences Research Center of the ELKH. Each symposium was presented by at least one foreign researcher. In addition, the poster section was also extremely successful.
