A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. A CME22 nemzetközi tudományos konferencia (Contemporary Mathematics Education) matematika tantárgypedagógiai kutattásokkal foglalkozik. 2008 óta két évente kerül megrendezésre Lengyelországban, változó helyszíneken, idén Gdanskban. A rendezvény célja, hogy találkozási lehetőséget biztosítson Közép-Európa és a világ különböző országainak matematika didaktikával foglalkozó kutatói számára. A szervezők a Rzeszowi és a Gdanski Egyetem matematika szakos tanárképzéssel foglalkozó oktatói, kutatói. A tudományos munkát egy 12 fős nemzetközi programbizottság (IPC) koordinálja. A konferencia jelentőségét elsősorban a tematikus munkacsoportokban végzett tevékenységek adják. Ez az a terep, ahol lehetőség nyílik a szakmai megbeszélésekre, tapasztalatcserére, valamint új együttműködési formák keresésére, közös kutatások elindítására illetve a a korábban megkezdettek folytatására. Saját részvételem célja egyrészt előadás tartása a konferencia témájához (a kritikus gondolkodás fejlesztése) kapcsolódó legújabb kutatási eredményeimről, másrészt a középiskolai korosztállal foglalkozó munkacsoport tagjaként a már korábban kialakított együttműködések folytatása elsősorban lengyel és görög kollégákkal. Témavezetőként azt is fontosnak tartom, hogy doktorandusz hallgatóimat is megismertessem egy nemzetközi konferencián való részvétel szakmai előnyeivel. Úgy gondolom, hogy ily módon növelni tudom ismertségemet az európai matematika didaktikával foglalkozó kutatók körében, továbbá bővülnek ismereteim az aktuális, releváns kutatásokat illetően. Mindezeket saját kutatócsoportomban és a doktori programban végzett témavezetői - oktatási tevékenységem során szeretném kamatoztatni.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. A CME22 egy olyan nemzetközi konferencia, amely a matematika tanításának tudományos kérdéseivel foglalkozik. Kétévente kerül megrendezésre Lengyelországban, ahol összegyűlnek a közép-európai és a világ más országaiban matematika szakos tanárképzéssel, matematika tanítással foglalkozó szakemberei. A konferencia kiemelt témája minden alkalommal más, ezúttal a kritikus gondolkodás fejlesztése kerül a középpontba. Részvételem célja, hogy bemutassam a témához kapcsolódó legfrissebb kutatási eredményeimet, tájékozódjak az aktuális, releváns kutatási témákról. Jó lehetőség kínálkozik arra is, hogy kapcsolatokat alakítsak ki a hasonló területen dolgozó nemzetközi kutatókkal, illetve hogy a korábban elindított kutaási együttműködéseket megerősítsem. Mindezek mellett a doktori program témavezetőjeként szeretném a PhD hallgatóimat megismertetni a nemzetközi konferencián való részvétel inspiráló hatásával is.

Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. Contemporary Mathematics Education Conference (CME) is a biennial conference in different locations in Poland (this year in Gdansk). It aims to bring together scholars from neighboring countries but also from all over the world. The conference is intended as a working meeting for those interested in teaching mathematics at all educational levels. The organizers are teachers and researchers involved in teacher training at the Universities of Rzeszow and Gdańsk. The scientific work is coordinated by the 12-member International Program Committee (IPC). The importance of the conference is mainly given by the activities carried out in the thematic working seminars. Each participant is invited to be a member of one of the working seminar groups that will meet several times during the conference. Discussions and exchange of experiences and ideas are the essential aspects of this activity, that is why the working seminars are considered the most important part of the conference. The purpose of my participation is, on the one hand, to give a presentation on my latest research results related to the topic of the conference (development of critical thinking) and, on the other hand, to continue the previously established cooperation with Polish and Greek colleagues. As a supervisor, I also consider it essential to introduce my doctoral students to the professional benefits of attending an international conference. I believe I can expand my knowledge of current, relevant research, and I can introduce others to my research and that of my research team as well. I want to use all this in my research group and my supervisor-educational activities related to our doctoral program.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results. CME22 is an international conference that deals with the scientific issues of mathematics education. It is held every two years in Poland, where experts in mathematics teacher training and teaching in mathematics from Central Europe and other countries gather. The conference's main theme is different each time, this time focusing on the development of critical thinking. The purpose of my participation is to present my latest research results related to the topic, to find out about current, relevant research topics. There is also an excellent opportunity to establish contacts with international researchers working in similar fields and strengthen previously established research collaborations. In addition, as the supervisor, I would like to introduce my Ph.D. students to the inspiring effect of attending an international conference.

Konferenciarészvételem hasznos és sikeres volt.
Kutatótársammal, Kovács Zoltánnal együtt workshopot vezettünk és posztert mutattunk be Is paperfolding just an activity for small children? címmel. A sikeres workshop és poszterbemutató eredményeként nemzetközi kutatói együttműködés kezdődött a bizonyítás-érvelés fejlesztésének, tanításának témakörében az egyik plenáris előadóval (Maria Alessandra Mariotti, University of Siena, Italy).
A konferencián plenáris előadás levezető elnöke voltam, ezáltal lehetőségem nyílt közvetlenebb kapcsolatot kialakítani a nemzetközi szinten elismert, meghívott előadóval.
Az International Program Committee tagjaként a nemzetközi ismertségem a konferencia résztvevői körében nőtt. Az IPC tagjaként részt vettem a konferenciasorozat jövőjével kapcsolatos megbeszélésen, ahol a következő konferencia témájjára tett javaslatomat a bizottság elfogadta.

My participation in the conference was valuable and successful.
Together with my colleague, Zoltán Kovács, we led a workshop and presented a poster entitled Is paper folding just an activity for small children? As a result of the successful workshop and poster presentation, an international research collaboration on the development and teaching of mathematical reasoning was initiated with one of the plenary speakers (Maria Alessandra Mariotti, University of Siena, Italy).
I chaired one of the two plenary lectures at the conference, allowing me to establish more direct contact with the internationally renowned invited speaker.
As a member of the International Program Committee, my visibility among the conference participants increased. The IPC discussed the future of the conference series, and the committee accepted my proposal for the theme of the next conference. (The relevant use of digital tools in mathematics education)
I heard inspiring presentations on critical thinking, which fit well with the research I had started earlier on the subject.
My Ph.D. student's participation and presentation contributed to her scientific development and encouraged her to complete the dissertation as soon as possible.
