A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. A desztillációs és abszorpciós világkonferenciát (jövőre: D&A 2022) négyévente rendezik meg. A szervező a European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) Fluid Separations Working Party munkabizottsága. A fenti szakterületen a legátfogóbb és legrangosabb rendezvény, melyen az akadémiai szférán kívül a világ vezető ipari nagyvállalatai is részt vesznek. A részvétel célja szóbeli és poszter előadások (összesen három) tartása. Közvetlenül a konferencia előtt tartja éves megbeszélését a fenti munkabizottság (Fluid Separations), melyben Magyarországot képviselem, és ahol először lesz alkalmam személyesen is megjelenni. A PSE folyamatmérnöki konferenciákat (jövőre: PSE2021+), melyre a világ minden tájáról várnak kutatókat, háromévente rendezik meg az ázsiai, amerikai és európai vegyészmérnök-szövetségek, felváltva Ázsiában, Amerikában és Európában. A konferencia témakörébe tartozik többek között a folyamatok tervezése, modellezése és optimalizálása. A 2022. évi konferencia különös hangsúlyt fektet a fenntarthatósági kérdésekre. A részvétel célja szóbeli előadás tartása.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. A desztillációs és abszorpciós világkonferenciát (jövőre: D&A 2022) négyévente rendezik meg. A fenti szakterületen a legátfogóbb és legrangosabb rendezvény, melyen az akadémiai szférán kívül a világ vezető ipari nagyvállalatai is részt vesznek. A részvétel célja szóbeli és poszter előadások (összesen három) tartása. Mind a konferencián, mind az azt szervező munkabizottságban fontos a személyes jelenlét, országunk képviselete. A PSE folyamatmérnöki konferenciákat (jövőre: PSE2021+), melyre a világ minden tájáról várnak kutatókat, háromévente rendezik meg, felváltva Ázsiában, Amerikában és Európában. A konferencia témakörébe tartozik többek között a folyamatok tervezése, modellezése és optimalizálása. A 2022. évi konferencia különös hangsúlyt fektet a fenntarthatósági kérdésekre. A részvétel célja szóbeli előadás tartása. A két konferencián lehetőség nyílik a legújabb tudományos információkhoz történő hozzájutásra és a személyes kapcsolatok bővítésére, melynek eredményeként a publikációs lehetőségeink javulnak, ami Egyetemünk és Tanszékünk megítélése szempontjából sokat nyom a latba.

Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. The world congress on distillation and absorption (next year: D&A 2022) is held every four years. It is organised by the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) Fluid Separations Working Party. It is the most comprehensive and prestigious event in this field, with participation from the world's leading industrial companies, in addition to academia. The aim of participation is to give oral and poster presentations (three in total). Immediately prior to the conference, the above-mentioned Working Party (Fluid Separations), in which I represent Hungary, will hold its annual meeting. I will be able to attend the meeting personally for the first time. The PSE process engineering conferences (next year: PSE2021+), which are attended by researchers from all over the world, are organized every three years by the chemical engineering federations of Asia, the Americas and Europe. The location is alternating between Asia, America and Europe. The conference covers topics such as process design, modelling and optimisation. The 2022 conference will place particular emphasis on sustainability issues. The aim of participation is to give an oral presentation.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results. The world congress on distillation and absorption (next year: D&A 2022) is held every four years. It is the most comprehensive and prestigious event in its field, bringing together leading industrial companies from all over the world, in addition to academia. The aim of participation is to give oral and poster presentations (three in total). Personal presence and representation of our country is important at the conference, in its scientific committee and in the organising working party. The PSE process engineering conferences (next year: PSE2021+), which are attended by researchers from all over the world, are held every three years, alternating between Asia, America and Europe. The conference covers topics such as process design, modelling and optimisation. The 2022 conference will place particular emphasis on sustainability issues. The aim of participation is to give an oral presentation. The conferences will provide opportunities to access the latest scientific information and to expand personal contacts, which will result in improved publication opportunities and a higher profile for our University and Department.

A desztillációs és abszorpciós világkonferenciát négyévente rendezik meg. A fenti szakterületen a legátfogóbb és legrangosabb rendezvény, melyen az akadémiai szférán kívül a világ vezető ipari nagyvállalatai (pl. Total, BASF) is részt vettek. Mind a konferencián, mind az azt szervező EFCE Fluid Separations munkabizottságban (mely a világon e területen a legrangosabb, Európán kívüli meghívottakkal) fontos a személyes jelenlét, országunk képviselete. Új magyar tagként első alkalommal tudtam részt venni személyesen a munkabizottság ülésén. A konferencián lehetőség nyílt a legújabb tudományos információkhoz történő hozzájutásra és a személyes kapcsolatok bővítésére, melynek eredményeként a publikációs lehetőségeink is javulnak. Doktori tanulmányaim részben Toulouse-ban végeztem, így a konferencia egyben jó alkalom volt a korábbi együttműködés felelevenítésére. A konferencia alatt két lehetséges együttműködési témát is azonosítottunk. A három konferenciacikk egyikének bővített verzióját beküldtük a Chemical Engineering Research and Design (IF=3,739) folyóirat konferenciához kapcsolódó különszámába, jelenleg a bírálók megjegyzései alapján a javított változatán dolgozunk.

The world conference on distillation and absorption is held every four years. It is the most comprehensive and prestigious event in this field, attended not only by academia but also by the world's leading industrial companies (e.g. Total, BASF). Both at the conference and at the meeting of the organising EFCE Fluid Separations Working Party (the most prestigious in the world in this field, with invitees from outside Europe), it is important to have a personal presence and representation of our country. As a new Hungarian member, it was the first time that I was able to attend the Working Party meeting in person. The conference gave me the opportunity to access the latest scientific information and to expand my personal contacts, which will also improve our publication opportunities. I did part of my doctoral studies in Toulouse, so the conference was also a good opportunity to rekindle previous collaborations. During the conference, we identified two possible areas of cooperation. An extended version of one of the three conference papers was submitted to the D&A special issue of Chemical Engineering Research and Design (IF=3.739), and we are currently working on a revised version based on the reviewers' comments.
