A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. A projekt keretén belül a 2022. 07. 17-22. között az Egyesült Államokban megrendezésre kerülő Oscillations and Dynamic Instabilities in Chemical Systems konferencián és az azt egy nappal megelőző Gordon Research Seminar-on szeretnék részt venni. A Mecenatúra pályázatból szeretném finanszírozni ezen két konferenciára való kiutazást, a konferenciák regisztrációs díját, továbbá az ellátás díját is. Mindkét konferencia személyes jelenlétű a kémia és biológia területén belül fellelhető nemlineáris dinamika köré épül. A konferencián 9 szekcióban lesznek előadások a poszter szekció mellett – mutatva a konferencia nagyságát. Az első konferenciát 1982-ben rendezte meg a tudományterület egyik alapító tagja (Irving R Epstein) és az azt követő években jellemzően a területben lévő élvonalbeli kutatók vették át a szervezését. Általában 150-200 kutató találkozik egy külvárosi helyszínen, ami így biztosítja a hatékony tudományorientált részvételt. A konferencia és a szeminárium felépítése sok diszkurzusra ad lehetőséget. Egy pályakezdő kutatónak a leghatékonyabb módja a tudományterület még részletesebb megismerésére a konferenciákon való részvétel. Mivel angolul már több online előadás keretén belül bizonyítottam nyelvtudásomat, úgy gondolom, hogy hatékonyan tudok szakmai közegben is kommunikálni. Viszont a vírushelyzetre való tekintettel még nem volt lehetőségem személyes részvételű külföldi konferencián részt vennem. Célom, hogy másodéves doktorandusz hallgatóként egy saját posztert demonstráljak, amely szorosan kapcsolódik a konferencia témájához. Elsősorban szakmailag szeretném magam fejleszteni, a tudományos tevékenységemet ismertetni és új szakmai kapcsolatokat létesíteni. A konferenciát megelőző szeminárium különösen jó alkalom a fiatalabb kutatókkal szakmai kapcsolatok kialakítására. Ezen lehetőség van előadás formájában is ismertetni a kutatási területünket. A nemzetközi konferencián bemutatott posztert a doktori képzés keretein belül szeretném elszámolni.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. A Mecenatúra pályázat keretein belül a jövő nyáron megrendezésre kerülő Oscillations and Dynamic Instabilities in Chemical Systems konferencián, és az azt megelőző Gordon Research Seminar-on szeretnék részt venni. Az évente megrendezésre kerülő konferencia a kutatási területem legjelentősebb eseménye. A konferencia jellegéből adódóan egy zárt esemény, amely előtérbe helyezi a kommunikációt és ezáltal a kapcsolat építést. A konferencián a tapasztaltabb kutatók a tudományterületet átfogó előadásokat tartanak. A fiatalabb kutatóknak pedig lehetőségük van poszter formájában bemutatni szűkebb kutatási területüket. Pályakezdőként én is poszter formájában mutatom be eddigi eredményeimet, melyet a doktori képzés teljesítéséhez szükséges kreditként elszámolható. A konferencia keretén belül lehetőségem nyílik olyan kutatókkal is személyesen találkozni, akik a doktori munkám alapjául szolgáló publikációk szerzői. A kutatási munkám ismertetése során észrevételeikkel nagyban meggyorsíthatják tudományos tevékenységemet. Emellett a konferencia előadásain is részt kívánok venni, amely 9 szekcióból áll a poszter szekció mellett. Az előadások sokszor a még nem publikált eredményeket van lehetősége a hallgatóságnak megismerni, amely az aktuális tudomány megismerését teszi lehetővé. Továbbá olyan eredményekkel, kutatási módszertannal ismerkedhetek meg, amelyet kutatási munkám során is felhasználhatok. A konferencia előtt megrendezett szeminárium pedig külön a pályakezdő kutatók és doktoranduszok számára nyújt lehetőséget, a kapcsolatépítésre és tudományos eredményeik előadására. Utóbbin én is szeretnék részt venni és amennyiben lehetséges előadás formájában bemutatni eddigi eredményeimet.

Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. I would like to attend the Oscillations and Dynamic Instabilities in Chemical Systems conference and the Gordon Research Seminar organized in the United States between 16-22 of July 2022 with the funding from the Mecenatúra grant. I would like to pay the cost of travelling, the registration fee and the cost related to basic needs (cost of living) from the framework of the project. For both conferences personal attendance is required, and the topic is related to nonlinear dynamics in chemistry and biology. In the conference 9 section for the presentations and one for the posters will be available for the participants – showing the magnitude of the event. The first conference was organized in 1982 by one of the founders (Irving R Epstein) of this field and in the following years mostly frontier researchers are taking care of the organizations. Typically, 150-200 researchers are attending. The conference venue is located in a suburban place to ensure an effective science-oriented participation. The structure of the conference and the seminar gives a chance for lots of discussion. The most effective way for a graduate student to extend his/her knowledge in the field is to attend such a conference. Since I have already experience in giving online presentations in English, I think that I can effectively communicate in this professional medium too. My goal as a second-year PhD student is to demonstrate my own poster, which is closely related to the topic of this conference. Primarily my goal is to improve myself professionally, expand my scientific knowledge and establish my acquaintance network. The pre-conference seminar is especially a good time for making new work connections with young researchers and here I will also have the opportunity to present my research. I would like to account my poster shown in the national conference to my doctoral school.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results. Within the framework of Mecenatúra grant I would like to attend the Oscillations and Dynamic Instabilities in Chemical Systems conference and the preceding Gordon Research Seminar. The annual conference is the most significant event in my field of research. Due to the nature of the conference, it is a closed event that focuses on communication and thus relationship building. At the conference, experienced researchers across multiple disciplines will give lectures. In turn younger researchers will have the opportunity to present their narrower research area in the form of a scientific poster. As a graduate student, I would also like to present my results in the form of such a poster, which can be accounted for as a credit required to complete my doctoral studies. Within the framework of the conference, I will also have the opportunity to meet in person with researchers who are the authors of the publications on which my doctoral work is based on. By presenting my research work to them, their comments can greatly accelerate my scientific endeavors. I would also like to attend the oral presentations of the conference, which consist of 9 sections in addition to the poster section. Lectures often provide an opportunity for the audience to learn about unpublished results, which allows them to learn about the state-of-the-art in the field. Furthermore, I can get acquainted with results and new research methodologies that I can use in my current work. The pre-conference seminar will provide an opportunity for early-stage researchers and doctoral students to network and present their scientific findings. I would also like to take part in the latter one, if possible, and present my results in the form of a lecture.

A Mecenatúra keretén belül sikerült részt vennem az Eastonban (USA) megrendezett Oscillations and Dynamic Instabilities in Chemical Systems konferencián és prezentálnom a kutatásomból készült posztert. A szeminárium során több óra előadás és poszter szekció segítette a hatékony kapcsolatépítést és a kutatási témák diszkusszióját. A konferencia során többek között olyan előadásokat hallgattunk, amelyek a közös tudományterületeink alapjait képezte vagy a legújabb eredményekkel alakítja azt éppen. Összességében nagyon hasznosnak találtam a személyes részvételt és sok hasznos tapasztalatot gyűjtöttem a konferencián való részvétel során.

I have succesfully participated in the Oscillations and Dynamic Instabilities in Chemical Systems konference in Easton (USA) by presenting a poster about my research. During the seminar, several hours of lectures and poster sessions helped to build relationships effectively and discuss research topics. During the conference, we listened to presentations such as those, that formed the foundations of our joint scientific fields or are shaping them with the latest results. Overall, I found the personal participation very useful and gained a lot of useful experience while attending the conference.
