A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. A Biofizikai Társaság Éves Találkozója egy nagy jelentőséggel bíró nemzetközi konferencia, melyet minden év februárjában tartanak az Egyesült Államok nagyvárosainak egyikében. A konferenciát szervező Biofizikai Társaság 1958-ban alakult, első konferenciájukat 500 biofizikus részvételével tartották az ohioi Columbusban. A résztvevők száma az elmúlt hatvan évben folyamatosan nőtt, napjainkban 5-6000 kutató és több, mint 100 kiállító cég látogatja a rendezvényt. A konferencia célja elsősorban a biofizika, a molekuláris biológia, és a képalkotás területein nyert kutatási eredmények bemutatása ezen területek legnevesebb szakértői által, illetve biofizikai témájú szakmai műhelyek tartása és a kutatók közötti kapcsolatépítés elősegítése.
A 2022-ben San Franciscoban megrendezésre kerülő 66. Éves Találkozón a calcineurin inhibitorok podocyták életképességére gyakorolt hatását vizsgáló kutatásomat tervezem bemutatni poszter formájában. Ez lenne karrierem első külföldi konferenciája amin személyesen is részt vennék, így itt nyílna először lehetőségem a nemzetközi tudományos életbe bekapcsolódni és személyesen is megismerni más országok kutatóit és munkájukat, valamint értékes visszajelzéseket kaphatnék saját munkámmal kapcsolatban a szakterületemen tevékenykedő külföldi kollégáktól.
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. A projekt célja az amerikai Biofizikai Társaság 66. Éves Találkozójának meglátogatása San Franciscoban, ahol kutatási eredményeimről egy posztert tervezek bemutatni. Ez a konferencia egy minden éveben megrendezésre kerülő, nagy múltra visszatekintő rendezvény, melyet az amerikai Biofizikai Társaság szervez. Célja a biofizika területén dolgozó kutatók munkájának bemutatása, biofizikai témájú szakmai műhelyek tartása, valamint a kutatók közötti kapcsolatépítés elősegítése.
Bemutatni tervezett kutatásomban három, a calcineurin inhinitorok családjába tartozó, immunszupresszív hatású vegyület hatását vizsgáltam a vese szűrletképzésében fontos szerepet betöltő podocyta sejteken. Munkám eredményeit tudományos poszter formájában összefoglalva mutatnám be a konferencia poszter szekcióinak egyikén, ahol mások kutatásainak megismerése mellett lehetőségem nyílna értékes visszajelzéseket gyűjteni a szakterületemben jártas külföldi kollégáktól.

The Annual Meeting of the Biophysical Society is an international conference of of great significance, held each year in February in one of the major cities of the United States. The organizing Biophysical Society was founded in 1958, and their first conference was held with the participation of 500 biophysicists in Columbus, Ohio. The number of participants has grown steadily over the past sixty years, with 5-6,000 researchers and more than 100 exhibiting companies attending the event today. At the 66th Annual Meeting, held San Francisco in 2022, I plan to present my research on the effect of calcineurin inhibitors on podocyte viability in the form of a poster. This would be the first foreign conference of my career that I attend in person, so for the first time I would have the opportunity to get involved in the international scientific community and get to know researchers from other countries and their work, as well as get valuable feedback regarding my own work from foreign colleagues.
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results. In this project I aim to visit the 66th Annual Meeting of the Biophysical Society in San Francisco, where I plan to present a poster of my research findings. This conference is an annual event with a long history, organized by the renowned Biophysical Society. Its aims are to present the work of researchers working in the field of biophysics, to hold professional workshops about biophysics, and to promote networking between researchers.
In my research, I investigated the effect of three immunosuppressive compounds belonging to the family of calcineurin inhibitors on podocyte cells, which play an important role in the formation of renal filtrate. I will present the results of my work in the form of a scientific poster in one of the conference poster sections, where, in addition to learning about the research of others, I would have the opportunity to gather valuable feedback from foreign colleagues in my field.

A projekt keretében meglátogatott konferencián, a Biofizikai Társaság 66. Éves Találkozóján a calcineurin inhibitor gyógyszerek podocyták életképességére gyakorolt hatását vizsgáló kutatásom eredményeit mutattam be poszter formájában. A konferencián bemutatott több, mint 2500 poszter és számos előadás között nagy számban fordultak elő a kutatási témáimat érintő publikációk is, melyek jelentős új információkat tartalmaztak számomra. A megismert tudományos eredmények bővítették ismereteimet és új kutatási irányokat nyitottak meg számomra. A konferencia során szakmai előrehaladásomat segítő tapasztalatokkal és szakmai kapcsolatokkal gazdagodtam, amiket kamatoztathatok a további munkám során.

I presented a poster about my research on the effect calcineurin inhibitors have on podocyte viability at the 66th Annual Meeting of the Biophysical Society, the conference visited as part of this project. Of the more than 2500 posters and oral presentations of the conference, a great many touched on subjects relating to my topic of research, providing me with valuable new information on novel research techniques and methods. The scientific results presented helped me expand my knowledge and opened up new research directions and possibilities for me. The experience and connections I have gained at the conference will significantly help my career advancement and future research endeavours.
