A projekt keretében látogatni tervezett nemzetközi tudományos/innovációs rendezvény bemutatása és a tervezett részvétel ismertetése Mutassa be a nemzetközi rendezvény jellegét, célját, szervezőit és jelentőségét a nemzetközi tudományos életben. Ismertesse a részvétel célját (pl. előadás, poszter, egyéb aktivitás), a rendezvényen való részvétel várható hatását és jelentőségét a saját kutatói karrier építésében. A CERME konferenciák elsősorban az európai kutatók együttműködését hivatott elősegíteni, egymás eszméinek, elképzeléseinek és kutatásaik bemutatásán keresztül. Szervezője az európai matematika didaktikai társaság. Műhely munka zajlik 27 munkacsoportban, és tudományos publikációk, cikkek bemutatására lehet jelentkezni. Ezek megvitatása történik, ami minden résztvevőnek nagyon tanulságos. Minden második esztendőben kerül megrendezésre, a 2021-es a járvány miatt tolódott 2022-re és így a következő egy év múlva lesz Budapesten, aminek helyi szervező bizottságát vezeti Csapodi Csaba chairként és Gosztonyi Katalin és Vancsó Ödön co-chairként. Mi hárman pályázunk erre az utazásra, melynek létrejötte létfontosságú a következő Magyarországot középpontba állító jövő évi budapesti rendezvény sikeréhez. Jómagam a matematika tanárok szakmai és tudomános fejlődését elősegítő módszertani doktori program vezetőjeként különösen fontosnak tartom, hogy a konferencián bemutatott trendek és kuatási eredmények eljussanak a hazai tanári elithez és általuk lassan a közoktatásba is lecsorogjanak. erre Budapesten sok résztvevőnek olcsón lesz lehetősége
A projekt összefoglalója, célkitűzései laikusok számára Adjon egy rövid, közérthető ismertetést a látogatni tervezett nemzetközi rendezvényről, illetve a részvétel céljáról, várható eredményeiről. A nemzetközi konferencia az európai matematikaoktatás legújabb kezdeményezéseit és az ezzel összefüggő megvalósíthatóságukat igazoló kísérletek bemutatására fókuszál, különös tekintettel a pandémia hatásaira ami elősegítette a digitalizáció, és új médiumok előretörését a mindennapi oktatási gyakorlatban. Szem előtt tartva a tanítás hatékonyságát, vizsgálják az új helyzetben meghonosodott új módszertanok eredményességét és tartós megmaradását a járvány utáni időkben is. Legfontosabb törekvés, ami a PISA mérésekben is elsőrangú fontosságú, miként járulhat hozzá a matematika tanítása a felelős, dönteni tudó európai polgár eszményének megvalósításához az iskola és az élethosszig tartó tanulás segítségével. Számunkra különösen fontos még, hogy 2023-ban Budapesten rendezhetjük a következő CERME konferenciát. Ez hazánkat Magyarországot a középpontba állíthatja, megmutathatjuk magunkat, eredményeinket, sikereinket és legújabb kísérleteinket. Így az új NAT és kerettantervek eszméit és a matematika szerepének fontosságát az felelős állampolgárrá nevelés folyamatában. Mind a tehetséggondozást, melyben világviszonylatban jók vagyunk (voltunk), mind a felzárkóztatást és a matematika mindenkihez történő eljuttatását, idézve Varga Tamás kodályi ihletettségű mondását, miszerint "Legyen a matematika is mindenkié". A komplex matematikaoktatási eszmék európai beágyazottságának a megmutatása, mint az MTA által támogatott Varga 100 általunk szervezett konferencián megtörtént, nagy sikert aratott és komoly nemzetközi érdeklődést váltott ki.

Presentation of the international scientific/innovation event to be visited in the project and description of the proposed participation Present the type, purpose, organizers, and significance of the international event in the scientific community. Present the purpose of the participation (e.g., paper, poster, other activity), the expected impact of the participation in the event and its significance in building your own research career. CERME is an important meeting point in the European researcher in Mathematics Education. Every two years will be organized by the European Society of research in Mathematics education (erme.org). The conference will be in working groups organized combined with some important leaded plenary lectures and poster section. The participants can disseminate their publications and recently research. There is important place to collaboration, preparing common research projects and the renewing of Mathematics Education with new ideas, goals and best practices. The next CERME will be organized in Budapest. Therfore it will be very usefull if the Hungarian LOC team leaders Csab Csapodi (chair), Katalin Gosztonyi and Ödön Vancsó (co-chairs) could take part on this conference which is important assumption of the success next year, which offers a good opportunity to show the Hungarian strength in the filed of gifted student in Mathematics, but to show the other side too, using the slogen of Tamás Varga's Complex Mathematics Education: "Let the Mathematics be for all."
Summary and aims of the project for a general audience Provide a short, general introduction to the international event to be visited, the purpose of the participation, and its expected results. The international conference will focus on presenting the latest initiatives in European mathematics education and experiments demonstrating their feasibility, with particular reference to the effects of the pandemic that has helped digitization and the emergence of new media in everyday educational practice. With the effectiveness of teaching in mind, the effectiveness and sustainability of new methodologies established in the new situation in the post-epidemic period will be examined. A key aspiration, which is also of paramount importance in PISA measurements, is how the teaching of the ideas of a responsible, decisive European citizen through school and lifelong learning. It is also especially important for us to be able to hold the next CERME conference in Budapest in 2023. This can put Hungary at the center, we can show ourselves, our results, our successes and our latest experiments. Thus, the ideas of the new NAT and framework curricula and the importance of the role of mathematics in the process of educating for a responsible citizen. Both the talent management in which we are (were) globally good, and the catching up and the delivery of mathematics to everyone, quoting Tamás Varga's Kodály-inspired saying, "let our mathematics be for all." Demonstrating the European embeddedness of complex mathematics education ideas, as it did at the Varga 100 conference organized by us at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, was a great success and aroused serious international interest.

kutatási eredmények (magyarul)
Bár legfőbb kutatási területem a matematikadidaktika, kutatói karrierem kezdete óta foglalkozom matematikatörténettel, és a két téma egymással való összefüggéseivel is. Az ESU9 fontos fórum ezen a területen, lehetőséget ad arra, hogy találkozzam a témával foglalkozó kutatókkal, tájékozódjam a témával kapcsolatos nemzetközi kutatási fejleményekről. A workshopom során megoszthattam a külföldi kollégákkal egy folyamatban lévő kutatás részleteit. A workshop nagy sikerrel valósult meg, mind fiatal kutatóktól, mind a terület idősebb szakértőitől számos pozitív visszajelzést kaptam. Ez segít egy folyamatban lévő folyóiratcikk véglegesítésében (ahogy az is, hogy személyesen tudtam egyeztetni a cikket befogadó tematikus kötet szerkesztőivel), az oktatói készségeimet is fejleszti, illetve új szakmai kapcsolatok előtt nyitja meg az utat (szóba kerültek pl. meghívások római és izraeli szemináriumi előadásokra).

Although my main research domain is mathematics education, I also work on history of mathematics and its links with mathematics education since the beginning of my career. The ESU9 is an important forum in this domain, providing opportunity to meat researchers working on these subjects and to learn information about current research developments. In the frame of my workshop, I could share details of an ongoing research project with an international public of colleagues. The workshop was held with great success, I received positive feedback both from young and senior researchers. This helps in the finalization of a journal article (as well as the opportunity to talk about it in person with the editors of the special number of the concerned journal). The feedbacks also contribute to the development of my teaching competencies. Furthermore, the discussions around the workshop opened the way for new professional relationships (for example, invitations for lectures at seminars in Roma and Israel were discussed).
