kutatási eredmények (magyarul)
2.) Hippokampális oszcillációkat vizsgáltunk, tekintettel a navigáció alatt mérhető neurális aktivitás lehetséges kialakulására, majd ezen ismereteinkkel hatékony navigáló algoritmusokat fejlesztettünk. A neurális mechanizmusok és neurodinamikai ismereteink implementálása kvalitatívan javította a tájékozódási készségeket in silico. Modellünket új neurofarmakológiai módszerek irányába is fejlesztettük. 3.) Új gráfelméleti mértékeket és algoritmusokat fejlesztettünk ki, melyek a hálózat szerkezete alapján annak funkciójáról adnak információt. In vivo multielektoródás mérési eredmények kiértékelésére új elméleti modellkeretet alkottunk. 4.) Neurális aktivitás információelméleti vizsgálatát végeztük hallórendszeri szenzoros pályarendszerek esetén, mely eredmények figyelembe vehetők in computo szenzorok kialakításakor. Reális neuronhálózatok Bayes-típusú dekódolást megközelítő optimális kódolási stratégiájához szükséges feltételeket határoztuk meg.
kutatási eredmények (angolul)
1.) We examined neural and social networks by the means of graph-theoretical and game-theoretical methods. We have designed software for assisting the teaching of simulated robotic soccer players. This software is available for the robotic soccer community. We have successfully applied it, together with a language designed for behavioral description, for recognizing the strategy of the opponent robotic players. 2.) Neuronal substrates of the hippocampal oscillations have been studied. In particular, we asked questions about the neural activity which is measurable while the animal is doing spatial navigation tasks. This knowledge was used to built efficient navigating algorithms; the implementation of neural mechanisms and neurodynamical models in the algorithms qualitatively improved the navigation abilities “in silico”. 3.) Based on new graph theoretical measures, algorithms have been developed for graph analysis, which provide functional information on the basis of network structure. We have developed a novel theoretical framework for analysing multi-unit electrode recordings. 4.) Information theoretical analysis was used for the examination of the neural activity at the auditory sensory pathway. These results could be considered while developing “in computo” sensors. We determined, which conditions need to be full-filled for near-optimal, Bayes-type decoding in case of biologically plausible neural networks.
