Zárójelentés

kutatási eredmények (magyarul)
Kutatásaink 13 megjelent referált cikket eredményeztek. Válogatott eredményeink, négy egymással összefüggő területről a következők. 1)Kvantum-rendszerek időben folytonos monitorozása, nanoelektronikai töltésdetektálás Elemeztük egy kvantumpötty (kvantum-dot) töltésállapotának monitorozását egy csúcsérzékenységű árammérő folyamatos leolvasásával, tekintettel a kvantum-Zénon-effektusnak a kísérleti megfigyelésére [22]. 2)A kvantumos-klasszikus átmenet mechanizmusai – a gravitáció lehetséges szerepe Numerikusan meghatároztuk a "súrlódásos" Newton-Schrödinger egyenlet szoliton-megoldását [25]. Megvizsgáltuk a gravitációs önkölcsönhatás megjelenésének lehetőségét egy nanomechanikai oszcillátor mérhető rezgési spektrumában [20]. 3)Kvantum opto-mechanikai kísérletek elméleti háttere Rámutattunk a jelenleg több laborban fejlesztés alatt álló nano-tükrös kísérletek korlátaira, egyfelől a vártnál nagyobb (mikro-kelvines) hűtési elvárásra [6], másfelől a lézeres hűtést korlátozó fáziszajra [24]. 4)Kvantuminformáció A Springer kiadónál tankönyvet jelentettünk meg [16]. Bevezettük az ú.n. kvantumkesztyű fogalmát a kiralitás "kvantum-gazdaságos" kódolására [1], ezt a kutatást a Nature és a Magyar Tudomány is szemlézte.
kutatási eredmények (angolul)
Our research led to publication of 13 refereed papers. A selection of our results in four interrelated area follows. 1)Time-continuous monitoring of quantum systems, charge detection with nanoelectronics We have analysed the monitoring of a quantum dot by continuous reading out an ammeter of cutting edge sensitivity, to consider the experimental test of the quantum Zenon effect [22]. 2) Mechanisms of the quantum-classical transition - possible role of gravity We have numerically determined the solitonic solution of the "frictional" Newton-Schrödinger equation [25]. We have investigated the possibility that the appearence of a gravitational self-interaction can be identified in the measurable vibrational spectrum of a nanomechanical oscillator [20]. 3)Theoretical background of quantum opto-mechanical experiments We have pointed out limitations of experiments with nano-mirrors that are under current development in various laboratories. There is an unexpected strong request of (micro-kelvin) cooling [6], as well as a limitation of laser cooling due to the phase noise [24]. 4)Quantum information Springer published a textbook of ours [16]. We have introduced the notion of the so-called quantum gloves, to the economic quantum encoding the chirality [1]. Both Nature and Magyar Tudomany have reviewed this result.
