Több új közelítő eljárást vezettünk be, amelyekkel egzotikus atommagok és atomok, valamint mezoszkopikus rendszerek elméleti leírását a korábban ismert módszereknél hatékonyabban lehet elvégezni. Ilyen új módszer - a Lagrange-bázisos rendszer, ahol az atomok számával arányos a számitási munka [12,22], - a hiszterézises optimalizálás [4,18,19], - a komplex energiájó kvázirészecskék használata atommagok BCS leírásában [17]. Nagy csatornaszám esetére is alkalmazható formalizmust vezettünk be triaxiális atommagokból való protonkibocsátás számolására [3,9]. A komplex skálázás továbbfejlesztésével elértük, hogy négyzetesen integrálható bázison tudunk szórásszámítást végezni [24]. A héjkorrekció alkalmazásával mikroszkopikus modellszámolásokkal határoztuk meg a makroszkopikus cseppmodell energiatagjainak izoskalár és izovektor parametrizálását [20]. Módszereink működését konkrét rendszerekre való alkalmazásokkal mutattuk be. Összefoglaltuk a 3-5 töltött részecskéből álló kvantummechnikai rendszerek stabilitására vonatkozó ismereteinket [13].
kutatási eredmények (angolul)
New methods have been developed in this project in order to carry out theoretical description of exotic nuclei, atoms and mesoscopic systems more efficiently than by using the previously known methods. These new methods are the following: - the Lagrange functions method, where the computational work is proportional with the number of atoms [12,22], - the hysteric optimization [4,18,19], - the use of complex-energy qusiparticles in the BCS desciption of nuclei [17]. The generalized Berggren representation allows us to study the role of virtual state in exotic nuclei separately [7,8,14,15]. In the case of antiprotonic helium the e-capture was described first time in a realistic way and partial widths have been determined [21]. A new formalism to calculate proton emission from triaxially deformed nuclei has been invented. applicable even when the number of coupled channels is very large [3,9]. The complex scaling method was developed further for the description of scattering states by using square integrable basis [24]. The isoscalar and the isovector parametrization of the energy terms of the macroscopic liquid drop modell have been studied by applying shell correction to the binding energies calculated microscopically.[20]. The power of the new methods has been demonstrated on different physical systems. Our knowledge on the stability of quantum mechanical system of 3-5 charged particles reviewed [13]
