Differenciálgeometriai módszerekkel vizsgáltuk a kvantum-összefonódottság kérdését. Új invariánst vezettünk be a három qubit összefonódottságra, amely a rendszernek a redukált sűrűségoperátorok segítségével nem tárgyalható nem lokális tulajdonságait jellemzi. Az összefonódottság invariáns mértékeire egységes leírást javasoltunk, és tisztáztuk a 4-qubit összefonódottságot jellemző invariánsok geometriai jelentését. Részletesen vizsgáltuk a húrelmélet négy dimenziós szuperszimmetrikus kompaktifikációban fellépő fekete lyuk megoldások entrópiájának és modulus stabilizációjának kvantum-információelméleti leírását. Tárgyaltuk a négy dimenziós szupergravitációs elmélet fekete lyuk megoldásait 7-qubit állapotok segítségével, rámutatva a Fano-síkkal, illetve a Hamming-kóddal való kapcsolatra. Kidolgoztuk a súlyozott permutációs hatások elméletét a konform térelméletek egyszerű-áram szimmetriáinak vizsgálatára.
We investigated the problem of quantum entanglement using differential geometric methods. We introduced a new invariant of 3-qubit entanglement which describes nonlocal properties that cannot be described using reduced density matrices, clarified the geometric meaning of 4-qubit invariants, and proposed a unified description of entanglement measures based on Plücker embeddings. We investigated the quantum information theoretic description of black hole entropy and modulus stabilization in four dimensional supersymmetric compactifications of String Theory. We described black hole solutions of four dimensional N=8 SUGRA in terms of 7-qubit states, and pointed out the relation to the Fano plane and the Hamming code. We introduced the notion of weighted permutation actions, and applied it to the study of simple currents in CFT. We worked out the character theory of 2D groups, and described its relation to CFT. We investigated the orbifold transform, an important ingredient of the theory of permutation orbifolds, and described its main properties. We developed a new approach to the theory of vector-valued modular forms, and indicated its applications in CFT. We derived a hypergeometric ODE for the fundamental matrix, and proved the spectral condition restricting its coefficients. We gave a completely explicit inversion formula for computing a vector-valued modular form from its singular behavior.
