kutatási eredmények (magyarul)
Eredményeim egyrészt megoldható kvantummechanikai potenciálfeladatok és azok szimmetriáinak vizsgálatával kapcsolatosak, másrészt pedig e módszertani eredmények konkrét atommagfizikai rendszerekre történő alkalmazását valósították meg. Az előbbi területen zárt alakban megadtam több egzaktul megoldható PT-szimmetrikus potenciál állapotainak pszeudo-normáját (ami a PT-szimmetrikus potenciálok hermitikus megfelelőinek előállítása szempontjából kulcsfontosságú), kiterjesztettem az egzaktul megoldható PT-szimmetrikus potenciálokat 2 és 3 térbeli dimenzióra és társszerzőimmel megnyugtatóan rendeztük a Coulomb-probléma PT-szimmetrizálásának régóta húzódó kérdését. Emellett javasoltam egy olyan eljárást, amellyel helyfüggő effektív tömeg esetén is egzaktul megoldható potenciálfeladatok generálhatók úgy, hogy a tömeg mindenhol véges és pozitív. Az alkalmazások területén atommagok alakfázisai közötti fázisátmenetek egzakt leírását adtam a hatodfokú oszcillátornak a Bohr-féle Hamilton-operátorban történö felhasználásával. Zárt alakban felírtam a fázisátmenet szempontjából lényeges állapotok hullámfüggvényét, energia-sajátértékeit és az állapotok közötti elektromágneses átmeneti valószínűségeket. A módszert alkalmaztam az E(5) kritikusponti szimmetriára jó példát mutató Ru, Pd és Cd izotópokra. Szintén tárgyaltam egy olyan szuperszimmetria-sémát, amelybe szomszédos könnyű atommagok alfa-klaszter állapotai sorolhatók.
kutatási eredmények (angolul)
My results concern the study of exactly solvable quantum mechanical potentials and their symmetries, as well as the application of these methodical results to nuclear physical systems. In the former field I presented in closed form the pseudo-norm for the states of several PT-symmetric potentials (a result essential in generating the Hermitian equivalents of PT-symmetric potentials), I extended exactly solvable PT-symmetric potentials to 2 and 3 spatial dimensions, and together with my co-authors settled the long lasting problem of the PT-symmetrization of the Coulomb problem. Besides these, I proposed a method by which exact solutions of position-dependent effective-mass problems can be generated such that the mass remains finite and positive everywhere. Concerning applications, I presented exact description of phase transitions between different nuclear shape phases by applying the sextic oscillator in the Bohr Hamiltonian. I gave closed expressions for the wavefunctions and energy eigenvalues of states essential from the point of view of the phase transition and also calculated electromagnetic transition probablilities between them. I applied the method to Ru, Pd and Cd isotopes that are considered to be good examples for the E(5) critical point symmetry. I also discussed a supersymmetry scheme that contains alpha cluster states of neighbouring light nuclei.
